Larry Bird’s $2.4 million Indianapolis mansion for sale; his Naples home off the market

Indiana basketball legend Larry Bird’s $2.4 million, English manor in Indianapolis popped up on the real estate market this week. Meanwhile, his $5 million Naples, Fla., home that had been for sale for years is off the market.

Whether Bird is leaving the state where he was born and raised, played college basketball, coached the Pacers and then was president of the NBA team, is unclear.

The Pacers declined an interview request with Bird. Donnie Walsh, longtime friend and Pacers consultant, and Bif Ward, the listing agent on the home with F.C. Tucker, did not respond.
