Shaquille O’Neal Used Four Words To Describe Playing Against Michael Jordan

Shaquille O’Neal will always be considered one of, if not the most dominant player to ever touch a basketball. While he holds that title, he’s not in the conversation as the greatest player of all time. That debate usually falls with Michael Jordan and LeBron James.

O’Neal has been vocal on his respect for both, but it seems like he puts Jordan on a pedestal. In a recent interview, O’Neal spoke on what it was like playing against Jordan when he first entered the league.

“I don’t know what God looks like, It’s like seeing God,” said O’Neal, via The Big Podcast on X.

He detailed the experience of actually being on the court with him, rather than just viewing Jordan’s game on television.

Former players have told many stories about being in awe when playing Jordan. This point of view from O’Neal truly reveals what the experience was like, given O’Neal’s greatness.

This may not be a declaration to O’Neal calling Jordan the greatest player ever, but he sure thinks of him as one the great basketball legends.
