Tiger Woods’ mini golf business suddenly filed for bankruptcy after days of sharing plans.

A mini-golf entertainment company in partnership with Tiger Woods is considering a project at Cedar Park as part of its aggressive growth plans in Texas.

Florida-based PopStroke submitted plans to the Cedar Park City Council on March 7 to build a 14,000-seat complex.

817 C-Bar Ranch Trail features a square foot restaurant and bar and two 18-hole synthetic turf miniature golf courses. The company is seeking a special use permit for three acres of land, and the request will be brought back to council for a vote at its next meeting.

The project is located in the 38-acre Cross Creek mixed-use market developed by Austin-based Cordova Real Estate Ventures.

This also includes Grove Wine Bar and Kitchen, Hopdoddy Burger Bar, EyeMart Express, Woodhouse Spa, and Emler Swim School. According to the Austin Business Journal, a representative of the developer who attended the meeting estimated that construction would take about eight to 10 months if necessary approvals are obtained.
