LeBron James Makes His Opinion Of Caitlin Clark Extremely Clear

There hasn’t been one athlete in the history of sports that’s came into the professional landscape with more pressure than LeBron James in the NBA. James was tasked with leading a franchise to victory, even before he stepped foot on the hardwood.

Caitlin Clark of the Indiana Fever may be one of the only players that’s been on the same level of stardom before entering the league. Clark was a college sensation with the Iowa Hawkeyes.

She broke the NCAA scoring record in four years with the program and averaged the most points per game of any player in NCAA history at just over 28 points her senior year.

James recently went on his podcast, Mind the Game, with JJ Redick and shared some insight into the Clark situation. He shared his opinion on the pressure she’s facing and what he thinks of her as a player.

But for her individually I don’t think she should get involved with nothing that’s being said. Just go have fun, enjoy. But I’m rooting for Caitlin because I’ve been in that seat before, I’ve walked that road before. I hope she kills. I hope Aliyah Boston does amazing.” said James, via Mind the Game on X.

James believes Clark is leading the change in the WNBA and she’s already been able to make a major impact. In just one month she’s been able to push for improvements in security, travel, and viewership TV rights.

Clark has received immense scrutiny in her early struggles, but James is throwing flowers her way, comforting the rookie in her time of backlash.

The one thing that I love that she’s bringing to her sport, more people want to watch. More people want to tune it. Don’t get it twisted, don’t get it f*cked up. Caitlin Clark is the reason why a lot of great things is happening for the WNBA,” James continued.
