Rory McIlroy is a household name in the sporting world.

However, the Northern Irishman’s been making headlines recently for reasons unrelated to his prowess on the green. The 35 year-old star has ended his decade-long relationship with Erica Stoll, filing for divorce on May 13 in Palm Beach County, USA.

Now, whispers of a new romance are swirling around McIlroy and CBS golf reporter Amanda Balionis, who has been spotted sans wedding ring in her latest social media snaps. Given his affluent lifestyle and golfing talent, McIlroy’s personal life has always piqued the interest of both die-hard and casual golf fans.

McIlroy’s staggering net worth has earned him a spot on the Sunday Times Rich List as one of the top 40 wealthiest individuals under 40 in the UK. Coming in at number 13, the former US Open champion is estimated to be worth a whopping £225million.

And like any sports superstar, McIlroy boasts an impressive property portfolio. His recent high-profile divorce has brought one of his most notable properties into the limelight.

Rory McIlroy’s plush Jupiter, Florida pad is a sight to behold, boasting an infinity pool, games room, tennis court, home cinema, recording studio and top-notch gym. The 13,000-square-foot mansion, nestled in the exclusive Bear’s Club golf community, also features a six-car garage, according to The Mail, notable neighbours also include tennis ace Serena Williams and basketball legend Michael Jordan.

McIlroy snapped up the property from golfing great Ernie Els for a cool $11 million back in 2012. Today, it’s thought to be worth twice that. But this isn’t his only impressive abode, in 2019, he reportedly splashed out $12.3 million on a sprawling mansion in La Quinta, California.

This stunning property boasts six bedrooms, nine bathrooms, and jaw-dropping views of the Santa Rosa mountains. But McIlroy’s property portfolio doesn’t stop

Among them is a grand estate in County Down, Northern Ireland. Dating back to the 19th century, it sits on a 200-acre plot and comes complete with a lake, tennis court and private golf course. He also has a flat in New York and a villa in the UAE.

But one of his most impressive properties is one he bought in his hometown of Holywood, Northern Ireland. The lavish property, nestled on a 7.5-acre plot, boasts six bedrooms, six bathrooms, a fully kitted-out gym and even a tennis court. It also features a guest house and a sizeable garage that houses Rory’s impressive fleet of cars.

When it comes to motors, the golfing ace is no stranger to luxury.
