Sad :PGA Tour golfer rages at airline for ‘unacceptable’ behaviour

Hadwin is in the field for RBC Canadian Open at Hamilton Golf Club.

You might remember Hadwin made the headlines 12 months ago after he was tackled by a security guard

Hadwin stormed the green with a bottle of bubbly to celebrate Nick Taylor’s monstrous, eagle-winning putt against Tommy Fleetwood but was mistaken for a spectator.

Judging by Hadwin’s posts on X, it appears the golfer arrived in Ontario without a hitch.

Only his golf clubs did not make the journey and were stuck more than 1,000 miles away in Denver.

“I know most of you feel the same way I am right now when airlines mess up,” he wrote.

His wife Jessica made light of the situation, posting a meme.

Hadwin later updated his followers: “Onto another flight to Toronto.

“Unacceptable. It’s not as if Denver and Toronto are remote. Airlines need to do better.”

We’ll keep our eyes peeled for further updates but it’s likely Hadwin will be more than a tad grumpy if he’s forced to make alternative arrangements.

A number of his followers expressed sympathy with his situation.

Some offered their clubs.

Whilst others drew his attention to the clip that went viral last week.

Delta was forced to apologise after the men’s golf team from East Tennesse State watched in horror at their clubs being hurled onto the ground after arriving for the NCAA Championships in San Diego.
